The Jeweller’s Eye Masterclass: Reading and Dating Jewellery is an intensive, three day, object led training for jewellery professionals, students and committed collectors who want a repeatable method for analysing and dating jewellery. Handling authentic pieces in hand, participants learn to recognise jewellery from specific historical periods through clear, worked examples, and to read design, construction, materials and wear as evidence. They also learn to identify later repairs or conversions that can mislead attribution. The focus is practical: clear observation, comparative anchors, and the ability to articulate a dating judgement and its supporting evidence in clear, plain language.

This masterclass is offered exclusively as a private group booking for 7 to 10 participants, with no individual enrolment available. Dates are set in consultation with the group, depending on mutual availability. Groups smaller than 7 can be accepted, but the fee is still calculated for 7 participants.
