Overview
Overview
Learn to identify the characteristics of rough diamonds and learn how to sort a pile of rough diamonds into different categories, according to various criteria such
as size, colour, clarity and shape. Sawables and makeables will have no secrets anymore.
Additionally, you will be taught how to maximize the yield of a polished diamond starting from the rough and how computerized scanning devices can help you make
the best decision. A third important topic is the price calculation of single stones and of parcels.
At the end of the course there is a practical test to pass as a last door to open to a career in the rough diamond industry.
